Brent handles farm management for over 14,000 acres in 20 counties in Illinois and Indiana. He provides real estate and rural appraisal services in Illinois and Indiana for Hertz Farm Management since 1989. Prior to coming to Hertz, Brent was plant manager for a crop input facility in Central Illinois. Since 1989, Brent has been a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and the Illinois Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. In 1994, he received the designation of Accredited Farm Manager. He is also an active member of the Council for Food and Ag Research (C-FAR), the Monticello Rotary, and the Illinois Farm Bureau. Brent was brought up on a crop and livestock operation in McLean County, Illinois. He was active in the production of corn, soybeans and hay, and was a part owner of a hog and cattle operation. Brent lives in Monticello with his wife, Lisa, and his two sons, Jacob and Ryan.
