Tom has been with Hertz Farm Management since October 1998. Previously, he spent over two years as an ag loan officer. He is an Accredited member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. Tom has been associated with crop and livestock production throughout his life growing up on his family’s farm in Northwest Iowa. He was president of his local FFA chapter, received his Iowa FFA degree and is a state diversified grain and livestock proficiency award winner. Tom continues to participate in his family’s row crop farming operation. He is active in the community, and has served as president of the 7 o’clock Kiwanis and treasurer of the Jaycees. He and his wife are active in their Humboldt church and have two children.
