Our job is to apply lessons we learned in the past, adopt new technologies wisely, and partner with you to face the challenges we face in the future.” Chad has been managing farms, selling real estate, and advising Hertz Farm Management on precision agriculture and information technologies since 1994. He is the third generation of accredited farm managers in the Hertz family. Chad is an active member of several professional and local organizations including the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, the Ag Studies Advisory Board for Hawkeye Community College and Orchard Hill Church. Chad graduated from the University of Illinois College of Agriculture with a degree in Agronomy earning Highest Honors. He earned a Master of Science degree in Ag Economics at the University of Illinois as well, specializing in production economics and precision agriculture. Chad is married and has three children.
