Sharon has been involved with the real estate valuation of agricultural properties and professional farm management since 1991. She manages farms in Central Iowa and conducts real estate valuations of agricultural and commercial properties for government agencies for acquisition and condemnation proceedings throughout the state. Real estate valuations are also completed for individuals’ estate tax, mortgage lending, and acquisition needs. Sharon is an active member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) and is on the Board of Directors of the Iowa Chapter of the ASFMRA. She is a former chairperson of the Iowa Real Estate Appraisers Examining Board. Sharon is a 2000 graduate of the Ankeny Leadership Institute. She grew up in northwest Iowa on a grain and livestock farm. Sharon is married and has two children.
