Mike joined Hertz Farm Management at its Mt. Vernon office in June 2000. He offers professional farm management services and assists his clients in marketing and acquiring properties as a real estate salesperson. He is a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA), and has maintained an active role in the Iowa Chapter of the ASFMRA by serving as chairperson of the State FFA Ag Issues and Perceptions Contest. Mike has also been involved in his local community and is on the Mt. Vernon Heritage Days Committee, which plans and organizes their annual town festival. Mike was raised on a crop and livestock farm in West Central Illinois, near Roseville. He also has work experience in crop consulting and agricultural sales through summer internship programs.
