The experience Max brings to his clients is much appreciated as he farmed from 1948-62. He spent two years in the United States Army, and then finished his college education in 1964. Max began his career as a loan officer in Mason City at the Federal Land Bank Association, where he was deeply involved in farm appraisals. He later became President of the Federal Land Bank Association in Hampton, IA. Max was promoted to Field Vice President, where he became responsible for the Federal Land Bank Association operations across the Northern half of Iowa. After spending nearly 13 years studying and appraising Iowa farmland, he joined Hertz, where he oversees real estate sales and appraisals. Max lives in Hampton, is married, and has two children.
