Kies Professional Farm Manager Licensed Real Estate Salesperson - Illinois “Each farm is unique and we take pride in offering the individual attention each client expects and deserves.” Chad became involved with Hertz Farm Management while in college through an internship during the summer of 2000. He officially joined the Geneseo office in January 2001. He serves as a professional farm manager for his clients along with evaluating and marketing agricultural real estate as a licensed real estate salesperson in Illinois. Chad is a member of the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, as well as the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He also participates in community activities as a member of the Geneseo and Quad Cities Young Professionals Network. Chad grew up on a farm in northwest Iowa, near Wall Lake. Along with his brother, he operated a grain and livestock operation while in high school and college. He and his wife Kate reside on an acreage near Geneseo and have one daughter.
