Landowner Education Seminars

2011 saw farmland values jump 20% - 30% in the Midwest and U.S. net farm income is projected to rise over $24 billion. You may be anxious to hear about what's going on in the Midwest agricultural economy and how it is affecting farmland leases and land prices.

Hertz Farm Management is pleased to present a series of Landowner Educational Seminars to bring Midwest landowners up to date on several important agricultural issues. Topics will include farm leases, grain markets, client services, land values and trends, as well as our new afternoon session that covers new tax legislation, estate and succession planning. These seminars are designed for landowners who don't farm their land.

All seminars begin at 9:00 a.m. and adjourn by 3:30 p.m.

If you would like to attend, pre-registration is required and the fee is $25 per person/ $40 per couple if payment is received in advance of the seminar and $30 per person/$50 per couple if the registration fee is paid at the door. The noon meal and break refreshments are included. The fee is waived for current clients. The dates and locations of our Summer seminars and registration information are shown below. You will receive an agenda and a map with directions to the seminar site prior to the meeting. Handouts are provided at the seminar including a copy of the power point slides.
